I cut out all the pieces for the blocks in my Supernova quilt over the weekend. Maybe I’m just a slow cutter, but this took forever! It was fun though, deciding how each block would look and choosing colors, etc. I bought Sanctuary fabrics to use, but also added some colors from the Central Park line and a few Amy Butlers. This helped fill in my gradations a bit more.
Here’s my color scheme:
I’m going to have seven of the nine blocks start with a flower fussy-cut center, and then an almost white center surrounding it, then flow out into the more saturated colors towards the end of the blocks. My background fabric is the Kona Ash, so it should make the colors pop nicely!
